About the Team
Fridley Dance Team is a hard working group of athletes that has qualified for the MSHSL State Tournament the past 6 years in a row. This program offers a year round program broken into three focus areas: summer training, fall performance, and a competitive winter season.

Summer Dance
The summer program helps train the dancers to get ready for the winter season. Coaches teach a variety of routines and go through high kick and jazz technique. To celebrate the end of the season, the team goes to Just For Kix dance camp in July. Another great opportunity is a chance to fundraiser. The funds raised goes towards the individual dancers to help pay for dance apparel expenses and costumes for the upcoming year. This season runs from May to July.

Fall Dance
The fall program practices three times a week and focuses on performance routines for Fridley Tigers football games, as well as technique and cardio to prepare for the winter season. This year, the fall team will perform at 3 football games and potentially one fall dance team showcase at Spring Lake Park. The team will also host a mini clinic where children in the area will have the opportunity to learn a routine and perform it at half time. This season runs from August to October.

Winter Dance
The winter competitive program practices five times a week and focuses on two routines, jazz and high kick. The team spends their time working on perfecting the routines, bonding with each other, and developing their dance technique to the next level. This season runs from October to February.
